hris Stefanetti's bass playing has established him as an in demand musician. The California-born artist has developed a signature sound and creativity that transcends his early rock and jazz roots. Branching out from established bass man he is also a versatile multi instrumentalist and vocalist, that produces, performs and writes a wide range of music with unique originality and expertise. From Rock, Funk, R&B, Blues to Jazz he's making a mark in all. Stefanetti's performance work has taken him to clubs, festivals and TV appearances all throughout the world including NBC's Saturday Night Live, the San Francisco Blues Festival, famous Los Angeles clubs, Catalina bar, La Ve Lee and The Baked Potato.

Chris has performed and recorded with noted musicians and artists such as NYC Blues Guitar Master Dave Fields, famed producer Walter Afanasieff, LA Sax greats Michael Lington, Doug Webb and Mark Hollingsworth. LA Jazz Vocalists Lisa Deveaux and Lori Jenaire, guitaristis Sandro Albertand Alex Machachek, Lead sax man Tom Politzer of Tower of Power, Vibes legend Bobby Hutcherson, Queen Ida and the Bon Temps Zydeco Band, smooth jazz guitarist Chris Camozzi, Bay Area vocalists Jenna Mamina and Ms. Monet, Bill Spooner of the Tubes, piano legend Rodney Franklin, Vocalist Tony Lindsey of Santana, Bay Area Keyboard great Peter Horvath, Matt Kelly of King Fish, Vasco Rossi guitarist Stef Burns, Full Faith and Credit Big Band, LA Blues greats JP Cervoni and Belinda Skinner just to name a few.

Some of Stefanetti the bassists' most recent work includes an East Coast tour and The Portland Waterfront Blues Festival with master blues guitarist Dave Fields, regular performances with Danny California's Allstars and bass player and producer for the Haakon Graf CD "A License to Chill" featuring Walfredo Reyes Jr. on drums and percussion. As a busy side man in Los Angeles he performed regularly with the jazz rock jam band "Amalgatron" featuring John Ziegler and The GRS trio as well as regular recording and casual dates. While in Bangkok Thailand he performed regularly with Keith Nolans Cotton Mouth Band as well as with numerous other acts. His latest personal projects include his Smooth Jazz debut album entitled "Wires and Wood" and an Acid Jazz,Pop Funk Album both of which he composed, performed and produced.
